Join us for an exciting afternoon of fun and friendly competition at Hall IV Bowling Day! Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned bowler, take a break from your studies, meet fellow hall residents, and enjoy a great time together!

Using coffee brewing as a medium for mindfulness practice, this workshop invites participants to consciously engage their five senses—sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch—through a guided sensory coffee experience. As the aroma of freshly brewed coffee unfolds, participants are encouraged to slow down, become present, and cultivate a sense of inner calm.

Building on this mindful experience, participants will then combine coffee beans and coffee grounds with art materials to create their own coffee-inspired artwork. This creative process provides a relaxing space to express present emotions and inner perceptions in a reflective and imaginative way.

This information session introduces the HKUST Winter Study Abroad 2026-27 offered by Office of Global Learning Experience. During the session, details about application procedures, eligibility, point-to-note when applying for the winter program will be covered.

All full-time undergraduate students are welcome to apply for the winter study abroad program and join the session.

The QFIN Alumni Network Program (ANP) is a new community-based mentoring initiative connecting QFIN alumni with Year 1 and Year 2 students. Through mentoring, networking and alumni-guided projects, students will receive practical guidance as they move from university life to internships and professional careers.

The 12-hour MHFA online course will teach you how to provide initial support to people with mental health problem or people experiencing mental health crisis. It will cover:

- Basic knowledge of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders and substance use disorders;

- Possible crisis arising from these mental health problems (e.g., suicidal behaviors, acute psychotic behaviors, acute stress reactions) and the necessary interventions;

- Early intervention and appropriate support to the person in need before the situation gets worse;

- Community resources and professional services available in Hong Kong

7 hours self-directed online learning: 30 Dec 2026 - 12 Jan 2027

Instructor-led Zoom sessions: 14 Jan 2027 (9:30 am - 12:00 nn & 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm)

Remarks: 

To receive a refund of the course deposit ($150) and an e-certificate of completion, students must complete the online learning modules and attend 100% of the instructor-led sessions with your camera on during the zoom sessions.
